Inspiring Future Innovators
`Iolani Robotics empowers students from elementary through high school to explore STEM through hands on robotics and real world challenges. Across FLL, FTC, Drones, and FRC, our mission is to foster innovation, teamwork, and resilience while upholding the Core Values of FIRST and the `Iolani ‘ONE TEAM’ spirit. Through rigorous practice, collaboration, and community outreach, we develop leaders who learn with integrity, compete with respect, and serve with a purpose.
Our Competitive Robotics Programs
`Iolani Robotics programs provides opportunities at various grade levels, reaching our young innovators and challenging higher grade levels to explore industry and engineering applications while competing with peers from around the world.
Grades 5 - 6
A team based program where students use Lego bricks and program robots to complete missions.
Grades 7 - 8
A head to head robot competition where students build, program, and drive their designs to compete in alliance format.
Grades 7 - 12
Competition based Drone racing in an indoor environment. Students learn to pilot drones, program for autonomous mode, and complete missions through a varied course.
Grades 9 - 12
A premier robotics competition where students design, manufacture, and program advanced systems to compete with the best teams across the world.

Our Impact
Since 2005, our Robotics programs have provided students with opportunities to learn about engineering, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and industry applications.
Our programs have achieved success at both regional and world competitions, reflecting the hard work, time, and dedication invested by our students and coaches.
Through a pipeline of robotics programs available to students in both the lower and upper schools, learning is strengthened by inspiring younger students, creating mentorship opportunities, expanding access to STEM, and building connections among the school, families, industry partners, and the broader community.
These robotics programs create meaningful impact by equipping students with the technical, academic, and leadership skills needed for future success, while also enriching the community through outreach, mentorship, and greater access to hands-on STEM learning.
